Ziyad Al Sahafi undergoes knee surgery in Aspetar Hospital
Bupa Arabia for cooperative insurance announced that Ziyad Al Sahafi, the re-known Ittihad player, has undergone a successful knee surgery last Tuesday 25th of October 2016. The initial injury that was taken care of was of the anterior cruciate ligament and was originally shown in an MRI in September of this year.

“This surgery is part of the in-depth plan that has been created by both Bupa Arabia’s medical staff and Al-Ittihad’s medical team to guarantee the fast recovery of Al Sahafi and his fast return to the field. Ziyad Al Sahafi was diagnosed with Anterior Cruciate Ligament after an MRI test was taken, and was scheduled to have his surgery in Aspetar hospital so that he can have the best treatment for such a critical injury,” Tal concluded.

Al Sahafi traveled to Qatar on October 10th along-side Dr. Mohammad Othman, head of sport injuries at Bupa Arabia. He is expected to return back to the field in the upcoming 6 months right after the rehabilitation program.
