You should ask your service provider to contact us immediately for an approval renewal. Your provider will have to simply login to our website to submit the request. 

All approvals (other than dental) are valid for one month from the date they were granted, or until the expiry date of your policy, given it expires before your approval does. For example: If your approval was granted on the 19th of March, it will remain valid until the 18th of April. However, if your policy expires on the 31st of March, your approval will also expire on that same date.

You should contact our Customer Service Team on our toll-free number (printed on the back of your insurance card) to confirm that you have not received the requested service. You should also ask your first provider to submit a cancellation request for the granted approval. The second provider will then need to submit a new approval request for the same service.

You should contact our Customer Service Team on our toll-free number (printed on the back of your insurance card) to enquire if the terms and conditions of your contract cover treatment outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. If it does, you will have to pay for the surgery in your home country in cash and then you can submit a reimbursement claim upon your return to the Kingdom. You will be reimbursed according to the benchmark of your eligible network rates and in accordance to your contract terms and conditions regarding deductibles. Claim forms are available here.

For new and returning members, Bupa Family and Bupa Business cover maternity and delivery as of the date the policy contract was signed.

The annual maximum limit of coverage is the maximum amount that Bupa Arabia will cover you for, during a single contractual period.

Your Bupa Arabia policy covers you for the following standard dental services, up to your annual sublimit:

  • Dental consultation
  • Simple and panoramic X-ray
  • Composite & amalgam fillings
  • Simple and surgical extractions, drainage of abscess
  • Root canal treatment
  • Medication

We will send you your insurance card within just five working days from the day of the payment.
